Tax Exemptions
As a charitable organization, we’re proud to offer no tax on most items. Tax exemption may vary depending on the province, the total purchase amount, and other factors. Some examples of when guests pay tax are the following:
– PST on clothing and footwear purchases of over $100 per item in British Columbia and Manitoba
– Bric items in British Columbia
– Sports & Toys, Jewelry and Miscellaneous items in Manitoba
– Housewares, furniture, appliances and electronics over $100 per item in Manitoba
– Saskatchewan all used items minus a $300 deduction per item
