Why Hosting a Workplace Donation Drive Makes a Difference
As a non-profit organization, the funds raised through the sale of donated items at our Thrift Stores directly support vital Salvation Army programs and services across Canada, helping those in need in our local communities. These include foodbanks, shelters for people experiencing homelessness, rehabilitation for those struggling with addictions, modern slavery and human trafficking prevention, emergency relief efforts, and more.
Additionally, through our voucher program, individuals and families in need can shop in our stores free of charge, ensuring they receive essential items at no cost.
When you donate, you’re helping to provide funding for life-changing services, supporting people in need, and promoting sustainability by giving pre-loved items a second life.
