    Yes. The Salvation Army Thrift Store is a registered non-profit organization that has supported Canadians for more than 140 years. Revenue generated through The Salvation Army Thrift Stores helps fund life-changing programs and services in local communities, including emergency assistance, shelter and housing support, food security programs, rehabilitation services, and children and youth programming. Due to our charity status, there is no tax applied to most items in-store and we are able to provide tax receipts for certain donations.

    Yes, absolutely! The Salvation Army Thrift Store offers many sales and special savings throughout the year, including monthly coupons for our email subscribers. Never miss a sale or promotion by signing up for our emails.
  • Is there a seniors discount?

    Yes, we love our seniors! We offer 10% off daily at our participating Thrift Store locations to every guest aged 60 years and older. Please note that this discount cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. 
  • Is there a student discount?

    While we do not currently offer a standard student discount, we do have a partnership with the Student Price Card (SPC) program. SPC members save 15% on their purchase when using their card. Please note this discount cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. 

  • Do I get a coupon for donating?

    Yes! A Donor Attendant will hand you a 20% off thank-you coupon when you drop off any donations of new and gently used items. These coupons may be used toward a future in-store purchase and are one way we thank donors for supporting the mission of The Salvation Army. Some restrictions apply.
  • Is there tax?

    As a non-profit organization, we are able to offer great finds with no tax on most items!
