“My fashion inspiration for the season is none other the queen of Scandinavian style Matilda Derf. Scandi style is the perfect Aesthetic for the minimalist girl winter! It’s cozy, simple but still so stylish and the best part is its so easy to thrift!
I put together some looks with key elements of this style as a guide on what to keep your eye out for during your next trip to your local Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Key elements:
Oversized fit – I recommend the men’s section for sweaters and blouses
Jackets – so many styles that work with this aesthetic can be found at the Thrift Store! I would look out for wool coats, blazers, mid-length leather coats and trench coats!
Scarves – oversized or long and thin
Key patterns – stripes
Key colours – neutrals or sold tones in blue, grey, black, white, brown and neutral/nude
Accessories – less is more, gold jewelry, ear muffs and ball caps”
