Hi everyone, in today’s blog post I’ll be putting together an entirely thrifted outfit for $25! I have always wanted to do one of these outfit challenges and what better time than back-to-school?
I took a trip to my local Salvation Army Thrift Store with the intention of putting together an outfit that’s very cost effective but still functional and stylish. I’m really happy with the Fab Finds that I scored on this thrift trip.
< FIND 1: Cool corduroy baseball cap - $1.99
The first item I spotted is this white “Manitoba Pork” branded corduroy hat. I really liked the colours and material of the hat. The price was also another factor that drew me to the hat, as it was only $1.99!
FIND 2: Carhartt workpants - $9.99 >
The next item I found are these grey Carhartt workpants. Workwear has been on trend for a couple of years now and I have been looking to add more pairs of work pants to my closet. This grey pair were a must-have for me, especially for the fact that they were priced at only $9.99; I couldn’t leave them behind.
< FIND 3: The perfect plain white tee - $4.99
The third item I picked up is a plain white Kirkland t-shirt. You really can’t go wrong with these. The t-shirt was only $4.99.
FIND 4: Retro long-sleeve - $7.99 >
After finding all three of these items, I thought I could put together a pretty simple summer outfit, however, I felt like the outfit needed some more colour. I proceeded to look through the men’s long-sleeve shirt section where I scored this beautiful Tip Top Tailors shirt for only $7.99. The pattern looks very retro and that is what I really love about this shirt.
FINAL TOTAL: $25
I looked through my thrifted items, noticed they all paired so nicely and spent exactly $25. Mission accomplished!
I hope you like the final outfit as much as I do and hopefully this inspires you to take a trip to your local Salvation Army Thrift Store. Find your closest store here and start creating your very own back-to-school look today.
