Supplies
– lights
– vases
– bowls
– various Halloween items
Step 1: Scoop up your scary secondhand supplies
Visit your local Salvation Army Thrift Store to gather various secondhand finds to create your décor. This is a fun DIY for all occasions, not just Hallowgreen!
Step 2: Prep your space
I used my entrance and front door to spook things up. I removed the day-to-day decor to create a blank space.
Step 3: Combine your spook-tacular finds
I found spiders, cotton, bats, pumpkins. I set up the cotton and other spider web type finds as my base. Then added the bats and spiders… placed my Halloween inspired vase and filled it with cotton and skulls. Added tea lights and string lights. Then I placed my pumpkin lanterns and of course a bowl of treats.
You can add books, lanterns, mirrors… whatever you can find and refashion to be Halloween inspired.
Step 4: Decorate your front door/lawn
Once you’ve finished your entrance then decorate your front door. You can add lights, signs, or even add items to your lawn. You’re ready for a fa-boo-lous Hallowgreen!
