The opening of the thrift stores in February filled me with joy. I was really looking forward to it! I thought I would celebrate the return to my favorite store with a short video of my latest Salvation Army thrift finds. So here are some of my favorite April finds made at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on St. Hubert Street in Montreal. I had to stop myself from buying everything!
In order of appearance in the video:
FIND #1:
A hand-knitted Scandinavian-inspired wool sweater. One stitch is loose, but I will fix it eventually.
Cost = 19.99
FIND #2:
A “granny” short sleeves blouse. It will be perfect for spring!
Cost = $3.99
FIND #3:
A cute vintage yellow dress with tiny blue dots, made in France. The cut is sublime, I simply LOVE it.
Cost = $7.99
FIND #4:
A light blue-green Zara cropped sweatshirt, literally brand new! Perfect for working at home and for cozy days.
Cost = $9.99
FIND #5:
A vintage Lacoste jacket, made in France. The kind of find that just makes me want to go back to the thrift store the next day.
Cost = $6.99
FIND #6:
A Zara men’s shirt with funky patterns and neutral colors. Again, this is the kind of ultra-versatile garment that can be worn all year round.
Cost = $4.99
FIND #7:
A super cool Bart Simpson on a skateboard white tee-shirt. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it a lot this summer!
Cost = $3.99
FIND #8:
A beige cotton corduroy jacket from Zara, brand new (it had the original store tags on it!).
Cost = $19.99
Total purchases: $67.92 for eight super stylish clothes. I’m so happy with my purchases!
