One of my favourite things about October is dressing up and celebrating Halloween and eating lots of chocolates and candy! It’s the only time where you can dress your alter ego and choose a crazy costume. But for those who are like me and prefer something simple? Oh, well, I got you covered!
< 1 : The Classic Bookworm
This may be overdone but it’s such an easy costume to throw on. All you need is a dress shirt, sweater, some pants, sneakers, and of course a good old pair of glasses. I like this one mainly because it requires the least amount of effort and you can use what you already have in your closet! And this outfit can be the perfect fall preppy kind of look if that’s what you’re going for.
2 : The Leopard >
One of my all-time favourite things to thrift is anything with leopard print on it! So of course, I had to make this my second Halloween costume idea. I decided to go for a chic look and pair my thrifted leopard printed blouse with some dark grey jeans and knee length boots. I feel like this can be one of those Halloween outfits where you can go out during the day and then at night apply the cat makeup and you’re good to go!
< 3: The Vampire
My final casual Halloween outfit is this vampire look! I recently went thrifting at The Salvation Army Thrift Store and scored this beautiful long sleeve dress, so I had to style it. This look is a great excuse to wear a red dress, throw on a pleather jacket on top, and some cute boots. I love the colour combo of this because it gives it a romantic yet gothic feel to this outfit but can also be a cute fall look.
So those are my 3 simple Halloween outfit ideas for this October! Even though Halloween will be different this year, I still hope you get to do something for yourself and celebrate this spooky occasion.
