Truck Driver - Saskatchewan Distribution & Recycling Centre (Full-Time)

As a Truck Driver you will provide courteous pick-up and delivery service to donors, guests and Thrift Stores by exercising safe and careful driving and material handling procedures.  When performed effectively, this position will reduce losses and maximize sales and profitability. 

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum Grade 10 or equivalent.  You are constantly attentive to safe performance of your job and as a Truck Driver frequently exposed to a variety of environmental factors.  You are flexible in work hours to achieve predetermined deadlines and are attentive to the safe keeping of The Salvation Army property including donations. This position requires substantial exertion in the collection, delivery and service to stakeholders.  You are results driven with a focus on service.  You are action oriented and communicate effectively while maintaining your composure in challenging situations.  As the face of The Salvation Army, you represent the Core Values in all that you do. The successful candidate will hold a valid Driver’s license and may be required to provide a driver’s abstract satisfactory to the employer.

We are operational 7 days a week and schedule our employees based on operational needs; days, evenings, weekends and holidays (Please Note: Our stores are open for shopping Monday to Saturday and Sundays we are open to receive donations).
