Warehouse Supervisor (full-time) - Lachine Distribution & Recycling Centre

As a Distribution Supervisor you manage the efficient processing of materials to, and through the sorting, baling and/or shipping systems by exercising safe and careful material handling procedures while adhering to company standards. Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of distribution employees and ensuring the consistent flow and movement of donated goods.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has completed grade 11 or equivalent education;
• A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in warehousing, trucking, and distribution management (or another combination of education and experience equivalent);
• A proficient communicator capable of interacting with various internal/ external partners;
• Possesses superior time management skills and are results driven;
• An effective leader with the ability to manage and measure work and motivate others in the achievement of established objectives;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), internet, and payroll and time keeping systems;
• You hold a valid Class G Driver’s license and preferably have forklift certification and Standard First Aid;
• A driver’s abstract and Criminal Record Check satisfactory to the employer is required from the successful candidate.

• Our Distribution Centre is operational Monday to Friday 8am -4:30 pm – this is location dependant
