RRSP Plan
All regular full and part time employees who have completed
their initial probationary period are eligible for The Salvation
Army Group RRSP Plan. The plan provides employees with basic
RRSP contributions from The Salvation Army at no cost to
the employee. These contributions range from the equivalent
of 4% to 6% of their regular paid earnings depending on years
of service. Employee's also have the option of making their
own voluntary contributions. If an employee does choose to
voluntarily contribute, The Salvation Army will match the
voluntary contribution to a maximum of 2% to 3% based on
years of service.
In addition to the core level of benefits, upgrading options are offered within each benefit category. By providing this type of flexibility, the program is able to meet the needs of a greater number of people.
