Spring has sprung... Here's a simple DIY for bringing the spring vibes into your home decor. All you need is some thrifted wine glasses of all shapes and sizes to create these spring-inspired tulips.

- wine glass
- enamel paint
- sponge brush
- silver Sharpie
- Mod Podge (optional)

Step 1:
Visit your local Salvation Army Thrift Store for a variety of wine glasses. I chose a few in varying shapes and sizes. Once home be sure to wash the glasses and wait for them to dry.

Step 2:
Next you'll need to pick up paint from your local craft store. I used enamel paint since it's oil based and more resilient to wear and tear than acrylic paint.

Step 3:
Pour your paint onto a dish or lid then use a sponge brush to create the tulip design on the top of the wine glass. I picked a bright pink for the tulip.

Step 4:
Once you've painted the top of the wine glass, you can now paint the stem green then allow to dry.

Step 5:
Once dry I then used a white paint to give the tulip design a bit of depth.

Step 6:
Once the paint is dry I then used a silver Sharpie to add more definition to the tulip. Feel free to use any colour of Sharpie you prefer or leave your design as is.

Step 7:
This step is optional. You can seal the paint with a coat of Mod Podge.

Feel free to experiment with the materials or add your own flair for this DIY.

Note: the wine glass is for decorative purposes. I wouldn't recommend drinking out of the glass. If you need to clean the glass I would hand wash it and not place it in a dishwasher.
