There are probably tons of things you adore about your sweetheart. With this DIY you can express all of those ways using a secondhand set of playing cards. Find a set at your local Salvation Army Thrift Store and create a one-of-a-kind card for that special person in your life.
- playing cards
- adhesive labels
- 2 binder or shower rings
- single hole punch
Score yourself a thrifted set of playing cards. Each card will feature one thing you love about your sweetheart. You’ll want to use a couple of the extra cards for a front and back cover.
Use a single hole punch to add 2 holes along one side of the card. Punch 2 holes through the whole set of cards. Try to make the holes the same placement on each card.
Now use either binder or shower rings to create your book. Slide each card into the ring then close it.
Finally use Sharpies to draw pictures or text onto adhesive labels. Trim the labels to fit your cards then stick on the labels. Write and/or design one label per card. I placed the labels on the back of the cards.
Modify this DIY by switching up the supplies or turning the cards into gift tags.
Now you're all set to show your Valentine all the ways you love and appreciate them. Happy Valentine's Day! Do you have other DIYs perfect for spreading the love? What secondhand scores do you use in your love-filled gifts?
