Think Green, Be Green
With Salvation Army Thrift Stores.
The Salvation Army Atlantic Recycling Operation Thrift Stores
gear up to receive donations as Atlantic Canadians start
their spring cleaning. Weekend donation attendants have recently
been added to several key Thrift Stores in Halifax/Dartmouth,
Moncton and St. John's to receive donations of gently worn
clothing, furniture and other household items. "Donations
are key to the Army's success in operating its stores" commented
Major Mike LeBlanc, Executive Director for The Atlantic Region. " With
people on site to help donors, its now even easier to donate
than before."
Recycling is more than just paper and plastic. Salvation
Army Thrift Stores have been recycling for 100 years!
Clothing, household items and furniture. And proceeds from
your store purchases go towards programs helping those in
need in our society. Your donations are urgently needed to enable us to continue
our good works. Demand for Salvation Army services is up
20% across Canada. We are a 100% charity Thrift Store serving
your community.
